NOTICE CONCERNING ACTIVITIES, MEETINGS AND GROUPS AS WE CONTINUE TO DEAL WITH A PANDEMIC (January 2021)
Last October, St. Anthony's published safety guidelines for small group meetings at the parish. This is an additional policy as of January 1, 2021:
- As long as the Indiana State Department of Health classifies Steuben County as Coronavirus Advisory LEVEL RED, all group meetings except liturgies are suspended. Groups are encouraged to meet online instead. The Parish Office will be open by appointment only. Please call ahead (260-665-2259) so we can open the doors for you.
- Once Steuben County is upgraded to LEVEL ORANGE, group meetings may resume, still following the safety policies laid out last October. Groups are still encouraged to meet online instead though. The Parish Office will be open as usual.
DISPENSATION EXTENDED INDEFINITELY"While commending our parishes who have gone to great lengths to assure safe worship spaces in our churches, given the continued increase of Covid-19 cases in our state, the Catholic bishops of Indiana here-by extend the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sun-days and Holy Days of obligation beyond 1 November 2020 until further notice. The Indiana bishops will continue to monitor the situation to deter-mine when it might be advisable to modify or lift the dispensation."
