Adult Faith Formation

Senior Book Club

The Church's catechetical mission aims to help the faithful of all ages to grow in both human and Christian maturity, enriching the whole of life with the leaven of the Gospel. Consequently, appropriate goals and content will embrace all the faith dimensions of an adult life—for example, understanding and communicating the faith, skills needed for personal growth, the experience of family life, relationships, public service, and concern for the common good.

THREE MAJOR GOALS:

  1. Invite and enable ongoing conversation to Jesus in Holiness of Life.

  2. Promote and support active membership in the Christian community.

  3. Call and prepare adults to act as disciples in mission to the world.

St. Paul's Chapel offers several different groups that will follow reflection materials that includes prayer, reading and faith sharing conversation.

Together, we have developed a technology platform for the delivery of award-winning Catholic content, children’s programming, audio talks, e-books and more, attracting over 1,000,000 users across 5,500 parish communities. And, this rapid growth is not slowing down!

Our world is hurting; yet, amid our fallen world, Christ is present. Jesus radically tells us in John 6:41 that “the bread that I give is my flesh for the life of the world.” The Revival is a grassroots effort to bring this radical, life-giving promise to the world, inspiring a “movement of Catholics across the United States who are healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist.”

What could be better than to gather with your Faith Sharing Group and focus on the upcoming Sunday readings.  This resource will give you prayers, reflection, and discussion questions all on the upcoming Sunday.
